Navy Recruit Training Service Ribbon

The Navy Recruit Training Service Ribbon may be awarded to enlisted personnel who have served as Recurit Divison Commanders under the specifications listed below:

Enlisted personnel of the Navy assigned to Recruit Training Command, Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, upon completion of a successful tour.

-- Personnel assigned in a support capacity (company assistants, echelon supervisors, liaison officers, instructors, or other personnel attached to the Recruit Training Command) are not eligible for this ribbon.

-- A successful tour is defined as one in which the Recruit Division Commander must have completed at least five divisions trained over a minimum tour length of three years.

-- Personal standards require that the tour must be completed without disciplinary incidents throughout the tour.

-- For purposes of eligibility for this ribbon, completion of the initial tour may not occur prior to October 1, 1995.
